ADDITIONAL COSTS:
· Passengers are expected to exercise due care with the boat and all equipment. The individual who contracted the charter is financially liable and accountable for the passengers in his/her group. This same contracting agent is responsible to pay for stolen or lost items. Additionally, he/she is responsible for the repair or replacement of any item damaged as a result of carelessness, neglect, misuse, or accident.
· Professional fish cleaning is usually available at the dock.
· Any special requirements or services to meet your needs or desires.
FUEL SURCHARGE:
Should the situation arise at the time of your charter where fuel increases above the below price, we will unfortunately need to assess a small fuel surcharge. Please understand that we are not trying to “nickel and dime” anyone. Fuel is the single largest expense of the charter. We always strive to keep our pricing consistent and to date the boat has absorbed the fluctuating costs of fuel. As we strive to maintain our fishing gear, safety equipment, and the quality of your charter, it may be necessary to share in the added cost.
· As of March 1, 2011: All prices are based on diesel fuel at the commercial dock in the South Jersey Marina.
· Passengers will be assessed a fuel surcharge at the rate of charter length times 22 gallons / hour times the amount in excess of $3.50 per gallon.
o Example: if you scheduled an 8 hour trip and the cost of fuel is $3.75, the surcharge is $44. (22gl/hr X 8hr X $.25/gl).
· The fuel surcharge can be paid in advance or in cash at the dock before departure.
GRATUITY:
· Gratuity is not included in the charter price. However, the mate works long and hard before and after the trip to provide you with a safe and pleasurable experience. He is similar to a waiter or waitress in that his pay relies on your generosity to earn a living. People always ask what is customary to TIP. A rule of thumb is 20% of the charter price. The rest is up to you and the crew thanks you.
