Captain Andy Merendino is a master, 50 ton rated captain. He has owned and operated charter fishing boats in Cape May for over thirty-five years. His reputation is legendary. Capt. Andy is one of the most experienced and respected captains in South Jersey. His objective is to do everything in his power to make your trip safe and fun, plus he will work tirelessly to catch fish. We are fortunate and pleased to have Capt. Andy take command of the Cape Queen.

Captain Jason began his love of boats and the water when he was six years old and started making friends at the marinas in Cape May. Working on the waters of the Cape and Delaware Bay became a way of life and a livelihood for Capt. Jason. His wit and humor always add to the enjoyment of a trip aboard the Cape Queen. As the first mate, Capt. Jason loves to share his fishing skills with anyone willing to listen and learn. You will never have to bait a hook or unhook your catch with Capt. Jason aboard.

Capt. Andy owned and successfully operated the Slammer until he sold it several years ago. He thought he wanted to retire, but that was a short lived plan. His love of the sea, fishing, and the people was too much to resist. Now Capt. Andy has a new ride aboard a new boat.
Capt. Jason recently was the mate aboard the Miss Andrea and earned a reputation as a tuna slayer. Capt. Andy mentored Capt. Jason in his younger years and now decided it was time they joined forces again. Together they are the most powerful fishing team in Cape May.
The most seasoned fishing crew in South Jersey has teamed up with the newest boat in South Jersey – The Cape Queen.
