| 2008 WINTER OFFSHORE SEA BASS |
3 February 2008
Our charter today consisted of Bill Bahrle and his son Evan, his brother Dave, along with Ed Trapper and Ron Wallsi from Forked River. Rounding out the charter were Theodore Diamantis and his two man crew from the Philadelphia area. Today was another one of those days when everything came together; we had calm seas, sunny skies, warm temperature, and plenty of SEA BASS! The boat total was over 200 fish (the crew has to eat also) with plenty of humpbacks in the mix. The sea bass that Dave is holding below weighed in at almost 7 pounds and the cod at over 12.5 pounds!

26 January 2008
After waiting nearly three weeks for a break in the weather everything came together all at once today. Winds died down to light and variable overnight giving us a tail sea in and out on the 60 mile journey to the fishing grounds. Nobody could have asked for better conditions in the middle of winter! And man were there some beautiful fish caught. Capt. Andy and the mate were hard at work assuring everyone got there share of Sea Bass.
